lost in Nueva Vizcaya

"Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose the sight of his shore"

It was sometime in June. We were new nurses. Job hunters. And as we applied to different hospitals, everyone required an Intra Venous Therapy Training license. So we had no choice but to look for people who offers training. We registered at different hospitals but there were also others who are in need of this training so there were a lot of competition. All the hospitals here in Tuguegarao were booked, and the schedule we got was due September or November. We were on a hype. We wanted it ASAP. So we even went to Ilagan, Isabela to inquire.

@ the bus on our way home to Tugue.

So, we were able to talk to the Supervisor and said that we could attend as "chance" participants and it would be on the last week of July or August. Parang chance passengers din? So we thought we were Isabela bound but out of nowhere, we received a text saying "fren, gusto niyo mag IVT sa Vizcaya? may available pang slot for July". Of course, YES! Communicated with the rest and the people from Vizcaya and immediately payed the registration so ayun SURE slot na.

We were excited of course. I could smell ADVENTURE. None of us have been to Vizcaya before. We don't know where the hospital and which hotel we could stay in until our group was divided so we had to go in batches. I was on the second so the fear of the unknown was lessened.

Day of travel, all I did was sleep and camwhorin. Damn it was a long travel.

on our way HOME.

So we had fun plus we are now licensed IV therapists! Ayus. But we did go back to submit our cases and the FUN part never went away.

After a few months, we were back!

at galing nanaman akong 12-hours, derecho byahe! At dahil sa pagmamadali, na WINDANG ever ako sa nangyari. I totally forgot my undies. Ok. I know. So, I had to buy new ones. That was totally one of my SHONGA moments. Another problem was, Wep and Hannah forgot their papers on the bus. That was the total stress throughout the trip. Our patience were put to test because we had to reproduce everything again.

Pagkadating, nagshopping agad sila ng kung ano2. Ako, picture nalang at inaantok pa.

It was also Bria's birthday. So we just had to celebrate.

With the group
